How is this different from a bulk SMS tool?

Bulk SMS tools send blasts to large lists. lemlist sends personalized SMS as part of a multichannel sequence, with the same variables, tracking, and inbox you already use for email.

Can I send SMS to leads in any country?

For now you can send SMS to leads in the US, UK, France, and Netherlands. More countries are coming. Note that sending to the US requires A2P 10DLC business registration, which US carriers require to keep SMS spam-free.

How much does it cost?

Phone numbers are $15/month. Each SMS deducts 6 credits from your balance, visible in the composer before you send. SMS is blocked automatically if your credit balance runs out.

How many SMS can I send per day?

Team admins can set the daily limit per number in sender settings. We recommend 10 SMS per day, with a maximum of 30.

What's the difference between SMS and WhatsApp in lemlist?

Both are native channels in lemlist and part of the same multichannel approach. SMS is less restrictive than WhatsApp. WhatsApp has stricter rules and Meta can ban your account faster if you push too hard. SMS feels less dynamic to recipients but gives you more freedom on how and when you use it.
